In my dental practice I am basically involved in "Periodontology". Periodontology is a branch of Dentistry that studies the anatomy and the diseases of dental supporting tissues (gums – bone- connective tissue). In other words Periodontology involves the curing and prevention of periodontal disease.

Periodontal treatment usually begins with a non-surgical approach, which consists of curettage, deep-scaling and root planning.
In more severe cases, therapy can be surgical (bone reshaping, tissue grafting, tissue regeneration, root coverage techniques, implant placement).

By the use of the perio-probe, X-rays and study models, a full range of comprehensive periodontal services can be provided.
